Your quest for the perfect Hotel in the Ski Juwel skiing area has come to an end. Our ski hotel in the Wildschönau is located shortly before Auffach, where the bottom station of the new 8-person Schatzbergbahn lift grants you access to Tyrol’s top 10 skiing area.

In the morning, the ski bus arrives every 5 minutes directly in front of the hotel to take you fast and conveniently to your skiing adventure. At the end of your skiing day you can ski directly to the hotel via the ski path.

Cross-country skiing in the Wildschönau

Look forward to 50 kilometers of perfectly groomed and mostly lonely cross-country tracks through the high valley.

A tip for aficionados: Follow the Auffach-Schönanger track to the Schönangeralm, where you can enjoy some cheese specialties from the delicious Tyrolean cuisine.

The Mühltal-Auffach track (7 km) goes directly past the hotel.

The Schatzberg mountain offers thrilling sled runs down to Auffach, Thierbach or directly to the hotel. In Niederau, another very popular sled run can be found. All mountain lifts can conveniently be reached by ski bus.

If you are looking for exciting sledge rides not only during the day, the Wildschönau is the perfect place. At Roggenboden, floodlit night sledging takes place on a regular basis.

The Wildschönau mountains in winter – you can’t get any closer to the beautiful winter landscape than when ski touring.

Lovers of nature will find many attractive routes of different lengths at the Wildschönau. Popular starting points are the top stations of the Markbachjoch or Schatzberg lifts. Upon arrival on the summit, the reward is revealed: A breathtaking view of the surrounding mountains, as you only know it from pictures. After the magnificent powder snow run, many ski tourers like to stop on one of the rustic ski huts to recharge their batteries for the run down into the valley.
