Out hotel in the Kitzbühel Alps

Our hotel is located in the Mühltal valley, between the villages of Oberau and Auffach. At Mühltal, you can find the access to the natural “Kundler Klamm” gorge and the well patronized Wildschönau Brewery. Auffach can be reached within 10-15 minutes’ walk along the Wildschönauer Ache river.

Located very closely behind our hotel, our riding stable with the adjacent indoor riding arena can be found. From the hotel rooms and the swimming pool you can watch the horses on the paddock. Our hotel is also a good starting point for mountain bike tours, hikes and much more – we are happy to inform you on site!

How to get to Tyrol

Via train

On the doorstep of the Wildschönau high valley is Wörgl main station, where all trains stop. If you are looking for the fastest connections and the cheapest tickets, it is worth taking a look at Trainline.

Bus line

There is also an hourly post bus service between Wildschönau and Wörgl main station (see schedule). The bus stop is directly in front of our hotel and is named like our hotel, "Mühltal in Wildschönau, Haflingerhof".

Coming from Munich/Vienna
Coming from Munich or Vienna, please follow the A12 highway to the Wörgl Ost exit. From there, follow the road to a big crossroads in the town center (100m after the church) and turn left towards Wildschönau.

Tip: Toll-free coming from Munich/Vienna
No austrian motorway vignette is required until the exit "Kufstein-Süd". Leave the motorway there and you won't need noticeably longer. From there simply take the main road to Wörgl and then into the Wildschönau.

Coming from Innsbruck
Follow the A12 highway to the Wörgl West exit, then toward the big crossroads at the city center and turn right towards Wildschönau.

Next: The route to Wildschönau
Follow the course of the road into the Wildschönau. After the first villages of Niederau and Oberau, Mühltal is next down the valley. Here, take a left turn after the bridge and find our hotel on the right-hand side of the road after approx. 300 m.

The closest airports are located in Innsbruck (70 km), Munich (150 km) and Salzburg (130 km). The airport taxi takes you fast and conveniently to the Wildschönau.
