Your search for the perfect hotel in the Ski Juwel ski area is over. Our ski hotel in Wildschönau is located just outside of Auffach, where the base station of the 8-passenger Schatzbergbahn opens the doors to one of Tyrol’s top 10 ski areas.
The ski bus stops right outside the door every 5 minutes in the morning, allowing you to get started on your day of skiing quickly and comfortably. At the end of your day on the slopes, you can ski down the trail back to the hotel. Alternatively, you can use the ski bus stop to return to the hotel.

Cross-country skiing in the Wildschönau
Look forward to 29 kilometers of well-groomed and mostly secluded cross-country trails through the high valley. The Wildschönau ski rental shops provide the necessary equipment. Courses for all skill levels can also be booked at the ski schools.
The high-altitude trails on the Schönangeralm and at the Markbachjoch are open outstandingly long in late winter, and also offer cozy places to stop for a break.

Tobogganing fun in the Wildschönau
The Schatzberg offers exciting toboggan runs to Auffach, Thierbach, or directly to the hotel. There is also another popular toboggan run in Niederau. All mountain railways are easily accessible by ski bus.
But even if you’re looking for more than just daytime tobogganing, the Wildschönau is the perfect place for you. Night tobogganing under floodlights takes place regularly at Roggenboden.
