A ski vacation with children works best when distances are short and everyone has fun. The Wildschönau is a certified Tyrolean family ski region, and the Haflingerhof is right in the middle of it: the ski bus stop is around 40 meters from the house, and in 3 minutes you are at the Schatzbergbahn in Auffach.
There, the youngest start at the Zwergenland, the ski schools are right at the valley station, and after a day on the slopes you ski back via the ski route to right behind the hotel. With us, you stay in family rooms and family combos with plenty of space, with half board, wellness and the WildschönauCard.
In the morning, the ski bus from the “Mühltal Haflingerhof” stop takes you to the Schatzbergbahn in 3 minutes. With the WildschönauCard, which you receive automatically when you stay with us, the ride is free. The gondola takes you up to the Zwergenland at the middle station, to the slopes and to the ski huts.
In the afternoon, you ski back via ski route 28 to right behind the hotel (depending on snow conditions) or take the ski bus. That leaves more time for the snow and less for commuting, finding a parking space and ski boots in the car.
The Ski Juwel Alpbachtal Wildschönau is big enough for variety and manageable enough for families. The test portal skiresort.info rates it “Top for families”, and the Wildschönau carries the seal of a Tyrolean family ski region.
