Advice & Answers on our riding offers

What are the requirements (age, skills)?

In general, there's a minimum age of 6 years. For Pony Riding, younger children are allowed as well, but two accompanying persons are required.

To participate at any of our outdoor-riding trips, you need to complete one riding lesson in the in-door arena first. This ensures that you get to know to the horses. The required skills are symbolised by these categories:

Beginner
first riding experience

Medium
trot (trab) without assistance

Advanced
gallop without assistance

Which gear is required for riding?

  • Helmets are mandatory (free rental in the stable)
  • Good shoes
  • Long pants, ideal without seams on the inner thigh (to prevent scouring skin)

Additionally, we recommend:

  • Riding pants
  • Spine protector

These riding gear shops might be on your arrival route to us: Krämer in Irschenberg (near Munich) or Equiva in Innsbruck. In the city Wörgl (just 20min away from us) there's also Raiffeisen Lagerhaus which offers a small basic selection of riding gear.

How do i book any of the riding offers?

We schedule our riding program one day ahead. This way we can adjust to weather conditions and the wishes of our guests.

Just call us, send us an email or simply stop by our hotel reception to get information on the upcoming program and sign up
