Ski season 2026/27 in the Ski Juwel: dates and ski pass prices

From the Haflingerhof, the ski bus takes you to the Schatzbergbahn in Auffach in just a few minutes. From there you are in the Ski Juwel Alpbachtal Wildschönau, which connects both valleys. To help you plan your ski vacation, we have put together the most important information for winter 2026/27.

The lift operators are planning with the following dates:

Weather and snow conditions may still change these dates. If you are coming in early December, please note the connection to the Alpbach Valley: it is only planned to open from mid-December.

According to the current plan, the Schatzbergbahn opens at 8:30 a.m. The last ascent is at 4:00 p.m. and the last descent at 4:30 p.m. You can find the latest information in the lift operating times.

The following selection shows the prices for one, three and six days:

The youth rate applies to people born between 2008 and 2010, the children’s rate to those born between 2011 and 2020. Children born in 2021 or later ski for free in accordance with the transport regulations. Please bring photo ID as proof of age.

From 13 March to 4 April 2027, children born in 2011 or later get a free ski pass if at least one parent buys a ski pass for three or more days. The offer therefore also covers the Easter holidays. More about the family offer.

For their first attempts on skis, children can head to the Zwergenland at the middle station of the Schatzbergbahn. The Tyrolean Ski and Snowboard School Wildschönau offers taster courses for children aged four to six. You can find more information on our page about family ski vacations in the Wildschönau.

The Schatzberg has a snow park with jumps, boxes and rails for different skill levels. On slope 6 you will also find the wave run, around 300 meters long. Another snow park is located at the Wiedersberger Horn in the Alpbach Valley. Which areas are open depends on the conditions on site. More about the snow parks.

At Roggenboden you can also ski or toboggan in the evening. Wednesday and Thursday from 7:30 to 9:00 p.m. are currently listed. Advance booking by phone with the Hotel Talhof is required: +43 5339 8465. Please have the date confirmed when you book. More about night skiing.

The “Mühltal Haflingerhof” stop is around 40 meters from our house. The ski bus is free with the WildschönauCard. The ride to the Schatzbergbahn takes just a few minutes; please check the current ski bus timetable (in German) for departure times.

When there is enough snow and the route is open, you can ski back via ski route 28 towards Mühltal to right behind the hotel. Alternatively, take the bus back. The hotel has a ski room and boot dryers. More about the location and facilities.

Our winter offers at a glance:

• Piste-Stormer Days: four nights with a 3-day ski pass (special rate) from € 584 per adult. Periods: 10–30 January and 28 February–29 March 2027.
• White Weeks: seven nights with a 6-day ski pass (special rate) from € 1,036 per adult. Periods: 9–30 January and 28 February–29 March 2027.
• Christmastime-Special: two nights from € 180 per person between 18 and 23 December 2026 (ski pass not included).
